Judge Napolitano: It’s not just the NSA, now the FBI, your local police are also spying on US citizens (with the help of telecom companies)

It looks like the telecoms for the most part have been coerced into working with the authorities, but there is no doubt a fair amount of voluntary cooperation between the cops and the companies which provide the world’s communication infrastructure. Crony communication.

(From Foxnews.com)

The conspiracy he revealed is vast. It involves former President George W. Bush, President Obama and their aides, a dozen or so members of Congress, federal judges, executives and technicians at American computer servers and telecoms, and the thousands of NSA employees and vendors who have manipulated their fellow conspirators. The conspirators all agreed that it would be a crime for any of them to reveal the conspiracy. Snowden violated that agreement in order to uphold his higher oath to defend the Constitution.

Um, so when do we get to see this? Or is it in a separate room that just a low level patrolman can't see, cuz this is news to me, and my husband and unlce have 35yrs on the force collectively. And my uncle is no low level patrolman! Sometimes if its too far fetched, it probably is. There is way Too many patriots in the actual police departments to let this fly. Especially the men in my life, would lay down their badges before letting this happen!

Why is our Government spying on US instead of Other countries? What could we actually do that they feel so threatened about? This is not a tool, it is a weapon of fear.

"Frustrated that the NSA seems to get whatever it wants, some local police have used their own technology to spy. They’ve purchased a $400,000 device that mimics cell phone towers, drawing cell phone signals to it and enabling the cops to capture telephone calls without the cooperation of telecoms or permission from federal judges. That’s called hacking; it is a federal crime and in most areas a state crime, as well. The assaults on personal freedom never seem to end. "

This Government is really broken. The fix I'm afraid is not going to be pretty.
